At DEC, Christian worship sits at the heart of who we are because it recentres us on God’s presence, God’s truth, and God’s calling for our community. 

When we gather—whether in song, prayer, or quiet reflection—we’re doing more than following a routine; we’re responding to the invitation Jesus gives in John 4:24, where He reminds us that true worshippers “worship the Father in spirit and in truth.”

Worship shapes our identity, aligns our hearts with God’s purposes, and reminds us that everything we do flows from His grace. 

As Psalm 100 encourages, we “enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise,” not out of obligation but because worship forms us into a people marked by gratitude, unity, and hope.
